July 2017 Spending a bit of time on badgers this year, and not really come together.They come out as it gets dark----When I am there-when I'm not around they are out at seven,typical! nothing wrong with the set up or hide ,just bad luck, as rabbits and partridges are coming to within a couple of feet of me in the hide. Oxfordshire July 2017 Marsh fragrant orchid, Gymnadenia densiflora ,marsh heliborine,Epipactis palustris, and meadow brown butterfly,Maniola jurtina  , from an early morning trip to an Oxfordshire fe. June 2017 Pyramidal orchid, Pyramidal orchid, Anacamptis pyramidalis, Chalk Fragrant orchid, Gymnadenia conopsea Midsummer in a Buckinghamshire meadow,a lot of these had started to go over ,with the hot weather ,normally on this site you can find these orchids through till early July,along with two other species ,that had already finished flowering                                 www.carlmckienaturephotography.com

June 2017     Lesser Stag Beetle, Dorcus parallelipipedus, mid June in Buckinghamshire, wooded heathland,found late evening ,just as it was getting ready to take to the wing. Smaller than the male "stag beetle"these are of similar size to a female,and take to the wing at this time of year to search out a mate.                           www.carlmckienaturephotography.com

17th June 2017                       Well the new web site I have been working on has now gone live,still more images to load up to it over the next few weeks,but it is  much more up to date ,as the old one was created a long time ago,and the newer one has a much better look to it,larger image previews and its own online store(again more products to be added in time) It should be easier for me to maintain with the shop integrated intothe site ,and not keep having to load images to other points of sale,and i think it should also look better well into the future https://www.carlmckienaturephotography.com/ https://www.carlmckienaturephotography.com/shop

Red Fox, Vulpes vulpes,searching for food in an Oxfordshire meadow,late spring,this meadow has two earths in and both vixens have cubs ,which should be out in the next couple of weeks
